I wrote this poem to honor those peaceful moments in life when everything aligns perfectly. While working on a tanka poem, I kept returning to the idea that the night feels especially calm when you’re alone with only your thoughts. Night possesses a gentle yet invigorating essence that helps us trust ourselves. I aimed to express that sense of no rush, a peaceful chance just to be.
Awaken beneath the silken night,
Under stars gently shimmering.
The universe softly sings,
Heavenly truths held dear.
Every faint dream glows,
Nestled in time.
Trust yourself—
it’s time,
Come.
